​​​@@natemo4594Ares looked animation wise insane but the artstyle was lifeless and tame. Characters looked like they are dead inside. Victory road has more life in it and the gameplay is skill and strategy based which makes it more fun. The art style is literally the anime and previous games so it has more of the inazuma eleven identity. And the switch demo looks great cus of the artstyle ngl but wqit for the pc and ps5 release bro- in 4k with 60 fps and probably more texture it will look insane i bet. And dont forget its just a beta demo which will transform into a different game when it comes out. I just hope there will be no more delays.

@@Sal13414 the graphics may be scaled down (which is right but it doesnt really mean anything since they opted for another artstyle) but they improved significantly the movements of the characters and the hissatsus animations (they were lifeless before)

​@@KillamanjamI liked it better than the new one because the playing field was much bigger, the animations were amazing, they looked like scenes from the anime. Instead, in the new game the old animation models of the techniques were simply taken and put in a higher resolution. In conclusion this game seemed more like an anime, the new one seems too much like a cartoon...

@@Killamanjam There are some things that I like of new games, like in the game it is important the normal kick. Level 5 now give a lot of importance to nomal kick. I agree, but if you can't score with that how I can see in the beta, that's useless... I would prefer a mechanic like strikers that I loved, it's more similar to a real football game like FIFA. You could do a slip or a block without techniques and without the "little hands" that are now there during tackles... I don't like also the "barriers" put in the new game... I would have prefered a different system to come back the defence

Popular franchise in south america, nordic countries, and its home country japan, this game got delayed so much that they decided to make a new story instead of the Ares story from the anime. In a nutshell, galactic level futbol being played by middle schoolers. (Ares and Orion (1 year after "Reloaded") are in a seperate timeline to the original trilogy and the "go" trilogy (25 years after main trilogy), seperated by the fact that aliens dont invade, and Fubuki Atsuya (dub. Aiden Frost) doesnt die in childhood+ Ichihoshi Mitsuru (dub. Phillip Star) dies young instead and his brother, Hikaru (dub. Lucas) takes on his personality instead of Atsuya's brother, Shirou (dub. Shawn))

oh and the new game Victory Road (of Heroes [in japanese])'s international beta test is dropping on switch the 28th of this month

Technically never There were some problems behind the scene and they ended up taking too long to finish and the anime already moved to it's next season And since they were so far behind that they'd telease it long after Orion ended, they devided to make what they uave and create a big anniversary game that features all 3 series (OG, GO and Ares/Orion), which might come out this year. There will be an Open beta test in March btw

Why? What we're getting is basically a massive upgrade from it, not just being Ares, bit it's sequel Orion and both past series Plus upgraded graphics and models

@husariuspl117 graphics did not improve they look way worse and its just too complicated for a football game

they're still updating on the kickstarter, with the last update being early march 2024; they apparently swapped over to Godot from Unity, and reverted the survivorlike bit
